Van 13 tot 17 augustus 2016 heeft in Quebec City (Canada) het 8e International Strawberry Symposium plaats. In lijn met de nieuwe uitdagingen is het thema van het symposium ‘Moving strawberry science to new frontiers'. Het symposium richt zich naar thema’s als nieuwe ontwikkelingen in veredeling, duurzaamheid en veiligheid in de productie, nieuwe culturele beheerstechnieken, oogstefficiëntie, nieuwe methodes voor ziekte en plaagcontrole, nieuwe vermarktingstrategieën en gezondheidsvoordelen van aardbeien.

De deadline voor het indienen van abstracts is 15 februari 2016.

Abstracts kunnen ingediend worden rond volgende belangrijke onderwerpen:
