TERRAENVISION 2022:NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS TO FACILITATE THE TRANSITIONS FOR LIVING WITHIN THE PLANETARY BOUNDARIES.

From 27 June till 1 July 2022 the third TERRAenVISION conference will be organized in the Netherlands. The  conference wil be organised around a general theme:

NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS TO FACILITATE THE TRANSITIONS FOR LIVING WITHIN THE PLANETARY BOUNDARIES.

With sub-themes: 

1.     Nature based solutions for agriculture, forests and natural areas (soil, water and landscape)

2.     Nature based solutions for natural hazards (fire, floods and droughts)

3.     Science brokers for transitioning to a climate resilient (climate mitigation and adaptation) and circular society

4.     Nature based solutions in urban and industrial areas (land and water management and spatial planning)

For each sub-theme  there is a half a day programme as in the previous TERRAenVISIONs: first two keynotes with a debate; and later parallel sessions with talks and workshops. These indoor days will be on 21 and 22 of June. On the other days there will be three targeted excursions to see the specific NBS that are used in the Netherlands to mitigate wildfire, floods, droughts, urban heat and floods and coastal threats.

There are 20 sessions open for abstracts lined up for you to submit an abstract of the work you would like to present in one of these sessions as oral or poster presentation.

The deadline for an oral presentation is 1st of May and the deadline for posters 1st of June.
