International Strawberry Symposium 2020, Growing strawberries from the equator to the arctic

Given the improvement of the situation we are continuing the organization of the ninth edition of the International Strawberry Symposium, initially planned for May 2020. We confirm that it will take place in Rimini on 1-5 May 2021, by confirming the program of all activities already planned: pre- and post-tours, field with international strawberry cultivars, berry school, three days symposium and technical day at MACFRUT fair.

We thank all companies that have confirmed the sponsoring program. We are contacting other new companies for further sponsoring support.

Op 4 mei organiseert de Belgische COST National Contact Points (CNCs) om 10u een informatie sessie voor Belgische onderzoekers die plannen een COST project in te dienen als hoofdindiener.

De volgende deadline voor het indienen van voorstellen binnen de COST Open Call is 29 oktober 2021 om 12u.

XXI International Workshop on Bunt and Smut Diseases

On May 5-6 the XXI International Workshop on Bunt and Smut Diseases will be organised as an online event. The workshop will be mainly composed of short presentations and discussion-rounds, rather than a full scientific conference. We plan to accommodate four workshops about 1.5 hours each and allow sufficient time for discussions.

EAAP 2021 Scientific solutions to different demands on the livestock sector

International converence on biodynamic research: Growing beyond Resilience

De 2de Internationale Conferentie over Biodynamisch Onderzoek zal plaatsvinden aan de Royal Agriculture University in Cirencester (Verenigd Koninkrijk) van 30 augustus tot 2 september 2021. Onder het thema "Growing beyond Resilience" worden academici en boeren in biodynamische en biologische landbouw samengebracht.

Abstracts voor mondelinge en posterpresentaties en bijdragen voor workshops kunnen tot 28 februari 2021 worden ingediend.
